College for Kids comes to Alamosa
ALAMOSA — For the first time Trinidad State will offer its popular College for Kids program in Alamosa in July. It’s a free program for 7- 11-year-olds patterned after a successful program that has operated on the Trinidad campus for many years.
Kids will engage their minds during fun and active learn sessions on July 6, 13 and 20 at the Trinidad State Valley Campus at 1011 Main Street in Alamosa. The programs are free, including lunch, but a $5 donation is suggested for each student each day to help offset costs. This is a collaborative effort of the University of Colorado Natural History Museum, the San Luis Valley Area Health Education Center and Trinidad State.
The programs are limited to 20 students each day, but a wait list will be maintained in case of cancellations.
