ALAMOSA — The Alamosa Rotary Club is pleased to announce that Aaron Miltenberger will speak this coming Monday, September 24, at noon at Juanito’s Restaurant, 1019 6th Street.

Aaron became the executive director of the Boys & Girls Club of the San Luis Valley earlier this year. He has worked with youth throughout his career. The club serves school age children and currently has over 500 members, around 250 of whom are active on a regular basis. The club staff sees an average of 85 members per day.

The mission statement of the cub is “To ensure that all children and youth, especially those who need us most, are offered opportunities to realize their full potential as responsible, caring and productive citizens of a richly diverse world.”

Aaron will provide an update on the programming at the club and opportunities for volunteers to contribute to the club.
